Best Games for Gamemaker
(1/1)
Tacman:
I finally got the monitor issue fixed on my GameMaker.  It still needs some minor adjustments, but the game is playable now.     Thanks to everyone here who offered help and advice.

Now, the next topic.  I realize that this is mostly opinion based, but what games would you recommend?  I want a mix of slots and card games mostly.  The must haves are Jacks or Better Poker, Let It Ride, Pick 'Em Poker and BlackJack.  After that, I'm not sure.  There are so many choices, so I'm looking to see what others would recommend.  If you're suggesting a slot, keep in mind that my wife likes bonus rounds.  Flying pigs need not apply.

Well, since you have several of the card games in mind already, your choices are slots, keno and misc games:

First- the misc games like Win Pigs Fly, Magic Symbols, Quest for Gold, etc. are kind of boring (IMHO) so unless someone has those that you could check out before hand, I would stay away from them.

Second- Keno, well pretty much a group of numbers where you pick a set of numbers where the more you pick, the higher the jackpot the more you match. Several like Free Bee and Gold Mine have bonus games when wild symbols hit.

Third- Slots, they come in two flavors. Three reel and Five reel variety:

Five reelers like Prince of Persia and Goldmine have bonus screens forr picking your winnings, Balligator has a series of trophys for extra winnings and Silver & Gold has multipliers that boost payline winnings.

Three reelers like Blazing 7's,  Wild Rose & Stars & Bars are pretty much standard slots. Fireball has bonus symbols and Wizard of Oddz and Straght Eight have 8-9 paylines.

Some of the titles are dedicated games and even if they only use two of your "P" slots on the MPU that is the only game you can play. Also if you want to go that route if you don't have a double row bet deck you have to locate mains that will allow you to bypass that and use the touchscreen (you still lose some features) The dedicated games also utilized a deluxe sound card and individual sound eproms for each game, so unless your machine already has it. That would be an add on. Some of the dedicated games are listed below:

Cash Encounters
Boxcar Bonus
Hot, Hot, Hot
Platypus
Play the Market
Baby Boomers
Money Poppers

Hope this helps.

Excellent information Dan.

Being the month of ghosts and goblins, you can also Theme your Gamemaker with Triple Trouble Games. In Slots, Poker, and Keno, getting the 3 devils gives bonus rounds where payouts are tripled. Throw in Wizard of Odds and Soothsayer, and your Halloween gameplaying is complete.
