Title: 500 for a Gameking
Post by: yerigh on April 13, 2022, 10:04:14 AM
Hi guys.
I wanted to get your opinions...
I found a Gameking video poker machine in great shape. The guy wants 500.00 and I wanted to know if that sounds like a good price? What should I look for when checking it out?

Depends on the hardware inside.  See if you can get pictures of the machine with the front door open.  $500 if it's working is not a bad deal, but if you want to run the more modern versions of the gameking software, you will have to find out what generation gameking machine you are getting for $500 before we can determine what hardware (if any) you need to run the newer versions of the gameking software.

Is there a way to check the hardware version or is it printed somewhere on the machine?

If it has a nice LCD monitor it's probably a good deal.  Can you post a picture of machine plugged in?

If you can get a picture of the machine with the door open and a clear look at the insides, it is relatively easy to tell what it is, especially if you can get a shot of the mpu.

Sounds good.
I am waiting on a response from the seller and will ask for a picture.
