in need of info on Third Wave Electronics TW101

I just picked up an on Bally 1091  3 line Dollar Slot.  After some lubricating etc,  it's working pretty good.
I just bought some new Stainless tokens of off ebay, but the coin comparitor won't accept any of them.  There's 2 pots, i've tried tweeking them a little but to no avail.
The pots have several turns,  I've adjusted each one individually i full turn to the left and the right.  I can get it to reject my old casino tokens, but I can't  get it to accept the new stainless ones.
Anyone have info on this coin comparitor?  Would like to know what each pot does, before I get the whole thing out of whack.
I've contacted coinmech to see if there's a direct replacement, but I prefer to work with the one that I have.
I would be interested in the original mechanical one if anybody has a line on one of those.
I've attached pics of the TW101 and a 25ct mechanical one in my e2000.
