I'm putting this out here not expecting to get much help. I know.......a V1000 with a 4-board stack....YIKES, but here goes anyway. Machine played for a long time pretty much trouble-free. Lately, however, it started acting up. After the machine was powered up for awhile, it would start to re-boot over & over again. I would press the buttons on the hopper, or turn the key on the side of the machine & the problem would go away....for awhile. It started to occur more and more frequently. I decided to pull the boards, check the connectors & reset the chips. After doing this, things got progressively worse. When I powered up the machine, the screen was scrambled & eventually just faded away. Now, It now longer boots up, the screen just shows a greenish color. When I check the terminals on the power supply board, I get 12v on the 12v terminal, but only .2v on the 5v terminal. I replaced the capacitor for 5v with no change. Any thoughts?

Sounds like the power supply is dying.
Have the power supply rebuilt.

Well, finally bought a working power supply from K-lar for $150+. Unfortunately, that did NOT fix the machine. Still getting .3 volts @ the 5 volt terminal on the power supply board. Anyone have any ideas as to where to look next?
