Hello all,
I have a Ballys s5500 with a XS1200 hopper recently acquired. Noticed when I went to cash out 25 credits that the hopper wheel was turning very slow and took a minute or so to pay out. I went to the hopper test settings and did it 5 times. It only payed out 10 coins twice and was turning very slow. The other payouts were 7,9,8.It then went in reverse all by itself. Then I saw a little smoke coming off the board. I shut it down immediately. I took the hopper out disassembled it to where I could turn the plate by hand. It does not turn freely at all. Wondering if it's the motor or the gearbox. If I did bench test the motor could somebody please help me with what voltage this model requires. Thanks you for any help

Hello,
You have posted your inquiry on the pre 1980 electrical mechanical Bally slot machine site.
I’m sure there’s a site on the NLG’s for your E-machine.
