Title: MK6 Screen Conversion

Evening all,

My MK6 CRT display is very close to not displaying anymore, does anyone have tips on converting these to LCD/LED (Not Touchscreen) over doesnt look too difficult on the the technical side however fabrication may be a pain.

they have a 19" monitor with the right brackets that screws to the slide in crt frame and all you need is a bezel that trims the machine. provided you get the screen for the correct machine and it comes with the wiring plug that goes in like normal. be careful as there is two different types of lcds, the mark 5.2 style has bracket mounting points that are wider than the genuine mark 6 xcite screens. some screens come with dual holes for fitting to both types of carrier trays.

where are you located? do you have the mark 5.2 upgraded to mark 6 style machine or a mark 6 xcite?

Hi again, I have MK6 Excite and I am in Yunderup Western Australia.

Pretty sure I have bought a bit gear of you over the last 12 months or so....

Has anyone tried a cga to vga converter then used a regular LCD monitor? Have an issue with my screen and can’t seem to find a replacement screen.
