Title: WBA 10/11/12/13
Post by: DdrumBeat on August 09, 2023, 10:26:54 AM
Hello. I just purchased a m9000 - In the Money - cash wheel slot. It has a WBA Bill validator.  It is in the slot as it should be. There is a plug coming from the back of the bracket it's mounted in. I do see anywhere in the cabinet or on the board that matches the plug type. It appears the plug is OEM to the cabinet. Is there an adapter I need? The only power source of power is on the bottom right of the Backplane board ...... I'm also looking for the Cash Wheel itself if any knows where I can get one or one that would work.

Look at the back plane P4 (should be labeled bill validator).  Is there a harness plugged into that?

Hello. Yes there is a harness plugged into P4 that's coming from the back of validator. There is another plug coming from there also that there is no place to plug it in. It's two wires with a male end.
I am changing batteries today in the boards. Could that have anything to do with it?. I had to order a clear card as well.

The validator has 3 plugs usually.  One of them is not used.

I changed batteries on the boards. It's still boots to a certain point then the screen turns black. I read where all of the switches on the validator should be off. It's a WBA 10/11/12/13. Also the lights on the yellow frame for the money in and ticket out are not even lighting up. There's a plug for the ticket printer but I have not gotten one yet. Will a Clear card and reinstall fix all of this?

Validators and printers would not cause your screen to go black.  Also if you replaced the batteries you need to perform a clear anyway.
