That's APPropo for this day and age.  :24:

You can swap to a DBV200 and power supply and it will accept the new $10, $20, $50

Do you know where I can find those two items? I searched eBay for a DBV200 and there aren't any for sale.

Hi all
Does anyone have ideas?  I just tried the bill validator test with the dipswitches and it will take in bills that way.  But won't when on normally. Just blinking red ramp lights

Help....

Thanks

okay...now you need to try to get the part number off of the ballast board I've encircled for you.
I'm pretty sure a member/vendor will have one to sell to you if you post a WTB ad in the Classifieds section of NLG.
If not, check places like GETT-T online...guys like them, strip down machines to sell the parts.

I'm seeing these called an inverter board online, what is the correct terminology?

Thanks

Bally Electromechanical / Re: 809 Belly lamp replacement - how?

Looks like this has been answered with great pics jimliner. I had already searched archives of NLG and found this text instruction. I thought I would paste it here for reference in current environment. I find it interesting he points out to be careful when pushing because the entire chrome frame is free once you remove the screws, I hope he didn't learn that the hard way. LOL

There are two screws on the inside of the door, one each side, lined up with the sides of the chrome frame and about an inch down from the top of it. If you remove these screws, the belly glass assembly can be tilted forward from the top and lifted free. It can't be removed entirely, as there are wires attached for the belly glass lamp. It may be stuck in place if it hasn't moved for a long time, but those two screws are the only fastenings and you should be able to free it by pushing from behind. Be careful, as it may come free suddenly. The chrome trim can then be removed, allowing the glass to be replaced.

Marshall Fey's "complete" manual book is nowhere near complete. The Mead "Owner's Pictorial Guide" is much more comprehensive.

I got some older bills over the weekend and those work.

Any idea how I can get this machine to accept the newer bills? I'd be willing to spend some $$$ to make it happen.

Mine has black screws.  Looking at inside of door  the left side screw is above and to left of starter.  Right side is between up/lower molex connections.  Look for black heads of screws in pics.

I just saw the other thread with the same error... I already replaced the batteries... I'm about to order a clear chip for the game so I can try a reinstall. Do you have any recommendations on which one I should get? It is a bb1 with the blue board of that makes a difference. I picked up the game yesterday from someone in marketplace for $40, pretty solid pickup I think.
