The 88 fortunes I have requires a local controller, I haven't seen/found a version that will run standalone.

See attached pdf. This game running on an A2 requires a special BIOS chip.
-
I have that bios with the game set also. Was told it still needs an external.

What is the number of the game on your CF card?
-
That is a newer alpha 2 game. Along with the newer bios, You need the the newer operating system and install card not to mention a 2.1 alpha 2 box. I don't have this but know a few that have it and are running it that way. The bios is above a 231 as the operating sys. and the newer 2.1 box it is being used on. There may be diff. versions also as why Jeff asked to confirm.

I will look and post the number(s) tomorrow, gonna be busy the rest of the night!. The game set came with 2 different setups, which I believe were for either 2 or 2.1 (factory 88 fortune complete setup/set, new)

These worked as Stand Alone

Hmm. I have that 8LMSNA1C with OS A2NAS03D which requires a custom Bios (for 2.0 cpu is sbal2004, and the 2.1 is sbal2105). I was told it needs an external controller from the documentation given.
I don't have an Alpha 2 to test, hopefully it can run standalone though!

so with the game and OS blueridge has and the sbal2014 bios Harvs mentions it should work properly. It wont require an external controller? if that is the case where can I get the software and bios? im also looking for the Fu DAE LE game. if anyone has it let me know.

Has anyone had any luck with purchases the game and software for it to work as a stand alone game? If so PM me as would like to purchase it. Cheers

The v32 version runs stand alone the 22/22 version is LAP. I was able to get the 22/22 version working with the complete set including the special bios but the progressive does no populate without the controller. So as soon as I hit a progressive in the bonus it crashed.

Another way to run it would be to use the basic "free" IGT SAS program running on windows on a Rasperry PI o other cheap PC.. you can then put IN the progressive values and "broadcast" to the machine over SAS. You would just need to create a cable to go to the comm port.
