Title: IMAC - how to reduce photo size

since I updated to ICLOUD - all my pictures are going into PHOTOS not IPHOTO - so the size for example ends up 2.5MB when the size limit for loading pictures on NLG is 1000kb.  The edit function in PHOTOS does not allow me to compress size.  anyone ???

I use COREL photo paint.
