Title: IGT iGame 3902 used cars Software No Sound

Hello everyone,


Any help would be appreciated, I have a IGT iGame with a 3902 board and was changing the software to used cars Software and I now have No Sound, the only sound I get is when I hit the max bet button and when I put a bill in. There's no other animation sound. I know the speakers work because they did with the other software. I have also tried swapping out the soundboard with another one but still have the same problem. Could I have a bad sound eprom?

Make sure all the DIP switches on the sound SIMM card are turned OFF.  Also try cleaning and re-seating it.

I don't have any dip switches it's eproms on the soundboard

Well that's your problem then.  You should have a MML2 board with a 16MB DSS00112 sound SIMM installed on it.

Interesting, Ok. You don't happen to know where I can get that simm do you?

It should have been included with the game software.  Check with Jim at Blueridgeslots.  You'll need the SIMM card and the sound card that supports SIMM cards too if you don't have one (MML2).

Ok, just curious how did you find out that dss00112 is the correct sound simm?

Awesome, any way you can post a pic of everything included in your software so I can compare?

Don't have a pic handy, but here's my set.  Your I and G numbers may be different....possibly even the PXL (C numbers).  There's normally quite a few variations for different jurisdictions and paytables.
