Title: V32 with I-Reels VGA Card Upgrade
Post by: tommyxv on October 03, 2017, 11:59:18 AM
I noticed that the touch screen on my V32 with I-Reels has a DVI input.  It is possible to upgrade the dual VGA card to a card with DVI out?

No, the software only recognizes that particular card with the particular bios on the card.  It has been explored before as some folks have tried different cards because it is getting difficult to find the dual vga cards nowadays.

I know there is a video.cfg file that can be edited for the game software to detect a different resolution but was not aware that is checks the the actual video card too.  Thanks.

Does the V32 without I-Reels and the V32 ( is it called a T32??? ) with I-Reels use the same dual VGA card?

Yes, all dual video Alpha 1 boxes use the same video card. V32, T32, V20/20, T20/20 transmissive stepper, and Game maker HD.
