Title: Recapping a CRT, the different colored caps , make a difference.?
Post by: Sunrise Side on January 06, 2020, 09:32:49 PM
I am going to order some electrolytic caps to recap a CRT and noticed that there is  different colored caps. There is brown, blue , and black colors. Does the colors represent a type of cap it is? If there is a difference,  what should be used  where?  I'm aware of the bipolar caps, but not up to speed on this color designation.  Thank You!!!

color of cap is manufacturers choice, as long as the value of the cap is the same. Also make sure they are the 105 degree caps, they are better than the 85's.
