Title: in need of igt 044 board proms

I am in need of 2 of the 8 pin controller proms for an igt 044 gameking board.  A board I purchased was missing them for sockets u74 and u83.  I have attached pics of chips from another of my boards that also work in the board that was missing chips.

That kind of shit really pisses me off.  Why would someone remove a custom programmed part required for the board to be usable?  Seems like you see it quite a bit with AVP MPUs.  No boot (BIOS) chips included.  Well that makes it a useful paper weight and that's about it!  PM me an address and I'll send you a set...no charge.

I totally get what you mean...I ordered a 044 motherboard and someone took out the small eeprom AND the two fuses?!?!??! :rotfl:

Good thing I had some blanks and fuses around.

Yes the same thing happens to me as well. I bought 5 boards and they were all missing those chips. I was able to got more but still waiting for the original vendor to replace mine.
