machine plays but when it hits a winning combination no pay out from slides. Help!!

Do you know if the machine was laid down? If it was the coins in the payout tube can turn sideways and jam the slides.

machine has not been laided down. also emptied the coin tube and reloaded it. when pay lines up slides are not activated.

I want to start off by saying I don't spend a lot of time on the Forum here as I spend more time in my shop working on slot machines for my customers and/or preparing them for sales listings!
A close friend and customer actually mentioned this posting to me!
On your issue, there are different causes for your problem so I will start by saying do the vertical pay fingers enter the holes in the reel discs as they should on an award lining up on the pay line?
If they do, do the vertical pay fingers make proper contact on the horizontal slide release levers to actuate the payout slides to pay out by releasing them to slide backwards causing coins to be dispensed?
As I mentioned above there are many variables that could cause your issue and it would become very involved here on the forum and without more information from you diagnosing the problem could be hard!
As I do not spend much time on the computer if you want to contact me with a PM that may work better as possibly I could walk you thru the issue!
As I work primarily on older antique mechanical slot machines and less on the Bally, IGT, Sircoma slots, Etc. when I am on the internet most of that time is spent on the coinopcollectorforum!
