IGT S Slot board issues (not a plus)

Hi everyone, I have a 1980s IGT S Slot that was giving me some issues and required another board. I got the new board which fixed my issue but with this board there is no sound. I tried turn the volume in both directions on the board and still nothing. Do I need to find another board to try or is there someone who can take my two boards and make me one that works perfectly? Thanks

I found an d post with a similar issue on an S+.
First, there is a sound on/sound off option in setup. Not sure on plain S but it might be for each function ( wheel spin, credit, wheel stop, credits, etc).
However, that persons problem turned out to be a speaker that failed. You might want to connect something to verify the speaker does work. Then look up audio settings and make sure they are activated.

There are a few S experts here, maybe one of them can jump in.

Hey...could you check something for me?
Is there a date of manufacture metal tag stamped to the side of the cabinet?
Could you take a picture of it and show us?
I'd love to see the exact date of your straight "S" model.  :cool_thumb_up:
