I had a Universal slot machine with error code 32 hopper jam, I took out the electrical board and found out the battery on the board was leaking and dead, I desoldered it and replaced with new battery and after installing, the slot machine works when you put a nickel in and the three rollers spin and stop,befoe this they did not spin. but no payout because the error code light is still on for error code 32, I have tried to reset Botton but the error code 32 does not come off. I notice there was a Botton on the mother board, I pushed it while the machine was on, still error code 32. Do I have to clear the ram?? or do I have to push that Botton on the mother board when the machine is off, keep pushing it while I turn on the machine??? and if I do have to clear the ram, does this mean I have to have those two special chips??to clear the ram??

turn power off to the machine, press and hold that button the cpu board while you turn power on, hold for about 10 seconds, or until you hear static coming from the speaker. This is the reset procedure.

Thanks Jim, I read this on YouTube this procedure for an other slot and wondered if would work on the universal machine and I will try this, thank you again.

JIm, I tried you procedure on this universal slot machine, and the error code 32 is still on, and won't let the hopper payout, any other ideas please let me know. the manual says to press the yellow reset botton to reset hopper error and this doesn't work either.
