IGT draw poker model 701 1982 CRT to VGA or LCD
« on: November 19, 2020, 03:25:00 PM »
Hi-     Any suggestions on converting CRT to VGA OR LCD? I see a post  from 8 years ago involving a chip swap and a 8200 converter card. Does anyone know if there is a update way to convert CRT monitor?
Does any one know what board this is? is there something missing on this board? Any suggestions on who works on them if it is bad?

OK fourth try apparently copy paste does not work on this forum.

Hi I have a bad monitor and was wondering if anyone had the process to convert CRT to VGA or LCD?
I did see a fix involving a chip swap and a converter card. the date was from eight years ago.
It would be nice if there was a card that did both color and sync and spit it out to LCD or VGA.
any solutions would be appreciated.

I can't help you with your machine but ..

If I copy and paste I have to adjust the font size after I paste it then everyone can see it.

I'm in the process of converting 2 machines right now.  Amazon has the conversion boards and you will also need an arcade switching power supply device (also found on Amazon).  They are both very reasonable.  Before I buy an LCD monitor I hooked it up to a monitor my wife uses at home for her desktop.  It's recognizing the convertor board but I keep getting a "no signal" error on both machines.  I'm thinking that it's the monitor that's not recognizing the sync signal from my poker games.  I found a multi sync monitor on CL.  Gonna try that to see what happens.  I'll let you know
