Interesting, I know these machines are capable of “fast pay” where the handpay is reset to credits but I think  it is done through player tracking and the casino server. I’m assuming the w2g key function is basically the same as the jackpot reset key.

 My g23 has a location for a second key right near the jackpot reset key and it looks like the same key will fit. I noticed a bundle of wires in that location that has the same connectors as the jackpot reset key so I’m assuming the wiring is all in place for the key to be added.

My SAVP is a Top Dollar machine that doesn’t have a second key location but it also has a wood veneer on the sides and back that is glued to the normal SAVP metal cabinet. i have noticed different casinos have different veneers on these machines so I am thinking the casino has the veneers done and they just covered up the slot for the w2g key because they didn’t plan on using it.

I will order a jackpot reset key and see if it will work as a w2g key.

Hopefully I can finally figure out how to send a handpay to credits!
