I have a friend with a PE Draw Poker that is Dead besides the upper and lower tube lights. It was working fine but, he left it on for a couple days and discovered the monitor blank, no sound, or push buttons lights or actions no action when a coin is dropped either. He said he checked the fuses and they look good. I told him he needs to check the fuses with a multi-meter.
Is there anything else I can tell him to check?

That's a good starting point. Is it a PE or PE+ machine?

Its a PE machine. Only the lights appear to be working. Everything else is dead. Could leaving it on for days hurt it? Weren't these machine meant to stay on all the time?

Yes they were designed for 24x7 use. The only way running it that way could hurt it is if the cooling fan stopped working and the machine overheated.

I wasn't aware of a cooling fan. Where is it located? Is it on the whole time the machine is on? How many volts powers it?
I really want to try and help him fix it so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

On the PE+ it's located top left side of the cabinet. Look for the exhaust louvers somewhere on the cabinet and it will be on the inside of them. I don't know the voltage of the fan. I don't have a PE machine just the PE+.
