Title: WMS BB2 XD, access to top monitor, Pull Lever?

I have looked all over and haven't found any info on how to get to the top monitor in the XD, it's the original first version of the XD.

I found a pull lever on the left side, pulled and pulled, can hear it's releasing some kind of latch but can't figure out where can open up access to the top monitor.

(Solution) 2 people, one pulls latch on lower left side, and one pulls top frame straight up from above with a bit of effort on each side.

I had the same problem on mine.

Once you pull on the latched the frame should push up. Might be tight at first but push up on the frame. Also not sure if this helps but make sure the hood/door is all the way up.

The pull latch barely moves a half inch, and the frame wouldn't budge, maybe latch is stuck.  Does the frame slide up, or pull straight out?

There's a box shape indent on the back side, would it be safe for me to open the back side (top) ?
