Title: Bally 5500 Error 70 Door Opened while reels are spinning

Good morning all,
The slot is a Bally Red Hot 7's and I have run all the tests and all seems well But when I try to play it Starts to spin but then comes up with the Error 70 Door opened while reels spinning.

Can anyone help in trying to solve this problem. I have replaced the battery and cleared ram. All tests complete as good but will not play without this error.

Could something else cause this 70 Error....

Well, problem solved!! I did not know if the bill acceptor was not installed even though the validator was optioned off on the MPU, that I would have to either install the DBV or jumper a plug that goes to the DBV.
So I installed the DBV and now the slot works fine. The 70 (door opened while reels spinning) had me looking for something else. I could not have figured it out without the help of Bob (raz410 on Ebay) whom I bought the MPU board from. Bob got me on the right track. Thanks Bob.
