Looking for everything needed to convert and IGT S+ machine to take dollar coins (new style, not the old Ikes). I am looking for a new hopper with everything needed installed in it already (for a simple swap), coin comparitor, coin in optic encoder, coin acceptor for large coins (outside on door, button deck), and anything else I may need for the conversion that I didn't list.
I have reached out to someone I purchase parts from on a regular basis and they recommended that I post here for a better response and possibly turn-key conversion. I do not want to modify my current quarter installation or equipment to swap to dollars.
Thanks

The only thing needed for small dollar coins is a shelf wheel & coin head or at least the back. A 50c back isn't correct but will work. Optic encoders are the same for 25c/SBA. You failed to mention you wanted to use small $ coins when we talked yesterday. It's a minimal change. I have S plus hoppers, a SBA shelf wheel & a S2000 back for the coin head. It will fit but it's low profile instead of high back like a S plus. You can file out a 25c back but I've never been able to do it without it being ugly. Using the newer golden dollars for a sample coin worked for me & the machine would take those & SBAs. Using a SBA sample would cause rejection of the golden Sacagawea & Presidential dollars. I was using the standard CC16 with the sensitivity turned down.
