Add Vision on S2000

(1/2) > >>

Newbooty:
I recently purchased an S2000 with an Add Vision display on the front.  It looks like they went out of business years ago and were into light advertising. IS there any information on these units?  My button panel is heavily pitted and I want to replace it, but I really like the lighted up Signage.  - I just noticed this is in the wrong forum.  I was going to delete it and put it in the S2000 forum, but I couldn't find a way to delete.

Here's an old thread about them. They worked for the IGT S+ and the IGT S2000, and could probably be added to other machines as well.

That thread has a nice picture of the unit not installed in a machine. The sticker is self-adhesive with some pretty sticky stuff on the back to make it cling to the panel. You might have some luck using heat and peeling very slowly, but there's certainly potential to damage your sticker by doing that, and you're unlikely to find a replacement.

They're electro luminescent panels and were made years ago by a company called Add-Vision, Inc. A part number for one of the designs was 10346-7000.
A company called IGraphics bought Add-Vision at least 15 years ago. IGraphics is still in business, but I would be surprised if there's anyone who still works there who is familiar with them.

Omg...I just went go see that old link...We used to have so much fun joking around playing with slots and accessories.... lol
Ron called me a loser and I threw a pie in his face....haha.... I'm going to catch up with him one day!

I actually still have a couple of these denom stickers still brand new wrapped in plastic.
But since they're so old, I don't even know if they will still light up.

Let us know if you can get yours to light up.
You can peel that sticker off with a putty scraper.

Newbooty:
Oh yeah mine still lights up nicely.  The problem is the button deck is badly pitted and scratched.  I would like to get a flawless button deck to reattach but that seems impossible these days. I was going to upload a video, but the attachment restrictions wouldn't let me

Shouldn't have any problems posting a YouTube link?
