Title: Kp3 podium jackpot streams

Hi all!


Have a Kp3 podium with the red 6760 gpu. Got my hands on a jackpot streams extension card but after the clear boot, it errors and tells me that gpu 6760 is required. I’m not super familiar on the kp3 boards but do know the correct and safe process of a proper clear. Doing some research on the advantage +, it looks like there is an eeprom required to run game extensions. Does anyone know if this is the same for kp3? 2 of my chip sockets are used, ROM 1 with runtime and ROM 3 with power up. Am I simply missing the ROM for the game extension for jackpot streams or is it deeper than this? Any info is appreciated as there is not a whole lot of info about the kp3 floating around.

Anyone? If I could verify the ROMS, it would tell me if I have an issue with my vid card. I’d just go ahead and try a swap, but that’s a $300 endeavor.

I never had to change my roms to run Jackpot Streams.
All I do is put the Jackpot Streams CF in the CF4 slot on the board.

Great! Thanks for the response! Do you have the same roms as I have pictured? And do you know what OS you are running? If I can eliminate those variables, I’ll get a new vid card ordered up.

Disregard the cf above the Jackpot Streams cf...I copied the game software to that card.

Well thanks for taking the time. Looks like I need a card, or something is messed up with my cpu. I don’t know why else it would throw that error.

How much ram do you have installed?I think you need at least 4 gb to run jackpot streams.


Do regular games run without any problems?

I can run a Selexion 4gb pack or a single 1gb just fine. And with the message, I’m thinking it’s gotta have something to do with the card.

Are you running the same version of jackpot streams as me?
I think there are a couple of different versions.

It works with every game I have.Even Selexion

Wow, didn’t know that was possible. I only have 1 4gb card, so I’d need a second to do that. Hard to come by.

If you run it with the Selexion it takes forever to boot.

Still... worth it. Having a jackpot with a multi game platform would be pretty cool. I like my Selexion package, just would lose the dragon on the top screen of dragons way.... no biggie... goal tho it’s to just get it to work first. I may reseat my gpu and see if that does anything.
