I have an apex 7000 series on a pog and every time the anti pfishing error comes on the bill acceptor will not reset. Is this a bill acceptor issue or a pot of gold issue. I reset the error but the bill acceptor will not reset. Is there a procedure that I must run other than turning the machine off and back on or resetting the power on bill acceptor. A soft reset also clears it but it seems to be a lot of trouble just to get the bill acceptor going again. Should I post on bill acceptors and find out how to keep it a serial connection and maybe there is a way to turn off the anti pfishing setting.

[/size]HOW MANY TIMES DOES THE LIGHTS ON THE BILL VALIDATOR BLINKS??? USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART TO DETERMINE. AND YOU CAN ALSO TRY TO DO A HARD RESET, NOT SOFT RESET. HARD RESET IS FOR ALL THE HARDWARE ATTACHED TO THE BOARD. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST IS TO CHECK THE METAL PRONGS IN THE BILL STACKER WHICH MAY BE BENT AND NEED TO BE FIXED AND WHICH YOU CAN EASILY DO YOURSELF.
