State tax burdens - Good to Bad. This is based on opinions from Kiplinger but it is probably reasonably accurate. Their website gives details on the evaluations. As usual, those states without state income tax score well.

In my state, one of the white ones.  :duh:  Property taxes are due the 20th of December. My house and car insurance is due the 3rd of Dec. I own rental houses and live in the country on a large acreage.  I'm not going to comment on Christmas.....December is my most costly month! It makes Christmas hurt. And Christmas shouldn't hurt....that bad.  :no:
