Title: WMS BB1 Tito Setup
Post by: aschlottman on March 29, 2017, 09:30:59 PM
So I finally got around to setting up my 3rd machine, a WMS Bluebird 1 with All That Glitters loaded on it.  Everything seems to be functioning properly; lights blinking away in a near Christmas like fashion, network address set and accessible via browser and app for stats, all connections tight and verified.  The problem is, I am unable to add credits to the machine.  Can anyone direct me to an area I should look at to test / further verify this setup?  I've cleared the machine 4 times now with the same results each time.

Make Sure your LEGACY BONUSING is enabled to SAS PRIMARY. If you dont have that option it may be your jurisdiction chip.

Does it print and accept tickets? Meaning you are only have problems with the network options?

This machine like my others is not setup with a printer.  Only the TITO unit.

That may be the problem. Email support. They are really good a trouble shooting.

I have an Alpha with no BV and use the TITO Deluxe to add credits to the machine. Not sure without a printer tho.

I have spoken to them previously, and they have verified that the TITO Deluxe is capable of working without a printer on the machines I have.

A couple of things to check:

Make sure they sent you the right hardware that is programmed for credits.  They usually write the number on the board somewhere like 1000 or whatever you asked for.

Also does your change button light up when you press it??  Make sure its connected to the panel harness etc........

In your first post you mentioned lights flashing.  Are they on the TITO board??  If so then the setup is not complete.  They all should be solid when everything is set up correctly.
Although, mine are not the internet capable ones so YMMV.....................

I have the Deluxe unit which is network connected.  When looking at the TITO board, there are a couple of green LEDs (small ones) that are flashing, but network connection seems good.  The serial cable is fully seated and attached to both the TITO board and backplane (is there a way to test if the backplane is working properly?).  The TITO board will connect to the network without issue, and will display stats, however, when I put money in the machine, it doesn't seem to change the stats displayed like I would expect.

Check the instructions to see if they say the lights should all be solid...............

They do for my version...
