Title: Printer Comm error Msg.

Have a 5 Times Pays machine  with new bill validator  and cash can--without ticket printer. Was working ok then started acting up with multiple problems.  Ended up replacing the power supply, MPU, mother board, bill validator  and cash can.  Well now I have the following problems:

Events after start up:
Display Passes self test Msg
Testing Memory Msg
Netplex Msg
Reels turn
Printer Communication failure Msg
Door Open MB Msg

Top candle slow flash
Bottom candle fast flash

Being I don't have a Ticket Printer how to I program and clear this problem. :Scratch-Head:

You replaced the mother board. Did you clear & key the machine afterward? If the mother board came from a machine that was configured for a printer, it's giving you that message because it's not detecting it's presence. You will need to disable the printer in the key chip menu at least. You should probably clear it & start from scratch & set it up to your preferences. Another option would be to reinstall the mother board you removed. If you don't have or need clear & or key chips, PM me. You can not disable or enable the printer without a key chip. Key chip settings are stored on the E2 or eeprom on the mother board. Those settings are retained even in the event of a battery failure on the MPU. The MPU RAM retains game play data including the number of credits on the machine even when it is turned off as long as the battery is good.

OK, Now that I have the clear and Key chip I need find step by step procedure to use them.
