hey everybody, just joined a few days ago. i own a s2000 machine, and i knew i needed to join a good info-tech forum, when i got the dreaded door opened mb and bill stacker display on my double gold machine. you guys seemed the best so i joined. guess what? i was able to fix my machine because of the great information (provided from this forum) about the optic bypass for the stupid s2000's door. it is now fixed, and the way i done mine was using a toggle switch instead of the cherry switch. appreciate the info fellas. Now a little about me: i live down here in south ms. 60 years old and getting ready to retire in 11 working days for me. i have always enjoyed working on electronics and repairing things myself. learned by reading books and experiencing working on different things. most interest have always been cb radios repair and am-fm cd and dvd players.  never have messed with slots but am now learning, thanks to you guys. i also have a pinball machine in my game room. i have started to kinda collect a few games that will maybe take some of my time up during retirement among other things. besides the wife and i enjoy playing pinball and slots and packman type games anyway.  anyway appreciate all the info and look forward to maybe helping with some input sometimes. Big thank you gentlemen and have great day. oh, forgot made a donation to this forum too. Many Thanks!

Welcome to  :nlg-logo: .  Be careful, slot machines are like Lay's potato chips....can't eat just one.  Figured you were old enough to remember that commercial!

Congratulations on your upcoming retirement.  I retired a bit over a year ago.  People always ask me what I do to stay busy now and believe it or not I tell them I'm so busy now I don't know how I found the time to go to work and it's true!

Enjoy your hobbies and retirement!
