Title: Mars Billval in a BB1 door open V

I'm getting an open door V message on my WMS BB1 slot.  I think this means that the door to the cash box is open. When I have this error, the game won't run, but after is sits awhile the error code goes away and the game works.  Any ideas as to what's going on?

Open Door V on a WMS BB1 is the Cash Box Door Switch.

Open the cash box. On the bottom of the housing there is a flat piece of metal that pushes in and hits the switch. Check that it is properly actuating and hitting the switch holding it in the close position when the door is physically closed.

If that does not resolve the issue check/replace the switch. You could always loop the switch closed if you wanted to eliminate it.

Thanks, that was the problem.  Just used some packing tape to engage it permanently.
