Title: what is the SMI number for this game?
Post by: Badbaud on October 24, 2017, 03:39:08 PM
Please see attached picture.
Weird thing is the reel brackets had a SMI of 6275, I can only assume someone changed the theme and did not mark the reel brackets with the new SMI.
6275 is for a 3 coin blazing sevens.

The only SMI number that describes the game best is number 5301.
Where can I get a PC sheet to see if it matches the glass?

There might be some information on the old NLG site. If we knew the name of the game or had a full photo of the outside of the machine we might be able to help more. Searching is usually done by either the name of the game or by SMI number.

Ya, it's frustrating because the customer is very non-responsive to my requests either by phone or email but I will keep trying for a full picture.

Tell them you are keeping track of your time spent on their problem and may bill accordingly.   :garfield:

The closest one I could find was SMI 5301 in the SMI list.

Finally got pictures of the machine and the reel bracket.
See attached.

Really do need to find the correct SMI.

Is the glass something that was custom made?  Do you know for certain what the name of the game is? If not then how will you know when you find the correct software for it?   :Scratch-Head:

I have no idea and was hoping a NLG sleuth could help out.
The customer is on the east coast and I am out west.
He bought the machine with no U18 or 20 so based upon the SMI stamped on the reel bracket I loaded his board with those and sent it back.
His SMI matched a 3 coin Blazing 7's and he said he had blazing 7's on his machine, he did not, as seen in the picture he finally sent.
Looking through the entire SMI list there is only one SMI that matches a 5L 7's, cherries, and bars and that was SMI 5301.
If I can get a set of those I am willing to send them and cross my fingers. After that, if they don't work, I will suggest he purchases a kit to make the game something else.

On Bally reel strips do they print the name of the game at the end of the strip, along with the strip part number?
