Does anyone know what component usually goes bad on these? I have 2 units. One gives reel 2 error. The other one reel 3. Also have a good one but trying to get another machine going. Hoping to turn 2 bad units into a good one.

You might be looking at the wrong board. I had reel-1 error and it turned out to be the controller board on the reel. In this case it was caused by a bad diode.


Try swapping reel positions to see if the problem follows the reel.
