I have had this machine for at least 15 years and finally got around to working on it. First the cabinet has a timer that turns the lights off after 7 minutes being idle. I need a replacement as there is a missing tooth. Notice it has a lever, the mechanical mechanism moves it during play to start the timer. Second it has old screw in #46 bulbs with E10 bases. Any reason I can't replace them with E10 base led's? Third it has the old transformer, should I replace it with something more modern?

I took it to my local jewelry store and it was repaired.
