Title: LED Display on the Top - Can I do anything with this?

Is there anything I can do with this upper display?  Has anyone figured out a harness that would allow me to connect it to something to scroll text or something like that?  Would be cool if there was an Arduino that could run scrolling text on it.

This is the display used by the casino reward/card system, I know that... but wondering if there was any way to re-use it to scroll cute home-game-room text or something..

You can program a Bally Mastercom controller to display any message you want.
Was done years ago here on NLG.
Do a search for it.
