Mk 6 won't load past a boot screen

Hi all
I have a tiki torch mk6 that I bought recently.  It is showing the message on the screen but won't load and play.
I know the one 3v battery on the board with the single battery is dead.  Would that cause this or is it something else?
In between the message it also says no video signal

Check that all the boards are sitting perfectly in the backplane, apparently MK6s are the NES of slot machines and will fail to boot if they are even a millimeter off.

Thanks.  I have tried removing an reseating several times with no luck.  I'll try some more... any chance the dead battery  would be the culprit?

Thanks for the advise.  I changed the dead battery on the lower board and when reinstalled the boards noticed they didn't go in completely without some force.  I gave an extra push and the game loaded up!!  But now it's loaded but not working.  The bill validator blinking red.  Any ideas what I need to do?
