IGT Fourth of July three reel
Coins jammed up diverter solenoid sounds like it never turns off
And is very loud
No coins are jammed anymore
Not sure if there is a laser or something is dirty why it's making loud noise
thanks for all your help

Behind the black plastic chute is a solenoid that operates the divertor gate.
It has a black CBR1 rectifier going out of specifications.
It changes the voltage to a smooth 24Vdc for the solenoid coil.
When it goes out of whack, it causes the solenoid to chatter.
Need to un-solder the rectifier and solder in a new one.

What I do to check the operation of the S+ coin divertor is:
1) Open the belly door.
2) Open the main door.
3) Press the test button 5 times until I see [10-2].
4) Turn the Jackpot about 20 times until I see [33].
5) Press the SPIN button repeatedly while observing the coin divertor operate.
To get out of the Output Tests, just close all the doors.
