I have a igt m slot that has been sitting for a couple of years but was working 100% before it was shut down now it comes up with call attendant , I changed the battery no difference what can I try next? Thanks

Do you have acid damage on the board?

No damage, the battery had been mounted off the board and it looked good just dead.

When you get the call attendant turn the reset key and it should show you the error.
If it's a cmos error, I think you will have to hold in the reset switch on the main board whilst powering on the machine to clear it.

THANKS that help a lot now the machine tries to start but comes up with CLOSURE RESTART so maybe the door optics? but they look good?

Yes I got it to play, I am going to play it for a while and see what happens , then shut it off over night and try it again, Thanks for the help , you made my day. tHANKS

On the newer igts closure means the door has been opened and shut. On mine restart happens if there are credits left on the machine when it's turned off. Not saying it's all the same, but sounds like it's working good. Enjoy!
