Title: MS verify error

New issue with different machine. This ones a tabasco reel touch. Again swapped out mother board with 1270 type installed new battery in top and bottom box. cleared and key chipped . Now I have a MS verify error code ( comm link down) the top box is stuck at (initializing)


Any suggestions?

Problem is top and bottom box are not communicating.

Reseat the ribbon cable going to the motherboard on the bottom CPU and the other end going to the EZ pay box.
Make sure plug with 3 grey wires on the top box is seated and the other end also plugs into the top of tha EZ pay box on the bottom.

The ribbon was loose fitting, replaced it and another machine now working.
