Title: WARNING! Slot Owner's Mag Scam AGAIN!!!
Post by: SolidSilver on December 13, 2015, 12:39:30 PM
I just received an email alleging to be from PayPal titled "Subscription Payment Failed." It says I need to click on an
internal link in the message, and update my credit card info, because my attempt to renew my subscription to
Slot Owner's Mag failed. Angry Ninja Development is the payee.

WATCH OUT: HERE COMES THIS SLIMEBALL AGAIN! C:-)

You must cancel your subscription or you will go through this crap every year.

I did: in July of 2014. This is the first I've heard from then since then. Will try again.

But it's a phishing scam, not a real subscription renewal:
the email is not actually from PayPal, even though it says it is:
it has an internal link to another site for inputting your credit card info,
something PayPal never does.

And PayPal says there has been zero activity (including requests) on my account for months.

I will try contacting the magazine scuzzbucket again; which will probably just put me on their "verified active contact"
 list.
