Hi everyone - DBV to an IGT 2000. It reliably accepts $1 & $20 bills. It rejects all $5 & $10 bills. I checked the DIP switch positions. I previously had to use a ram clear chip in this machine, as I couldn't get it to do do anything after replacing the battery. I then ran the DBV enable chip and I BELIEVE it defaulted to accept all bills. I sure could be wrong. Is there a way to check? Or, is there something else going on, like not set for modern currency design? Any help greatly appreciated!

What Make Model DBV do you have? It sounds like you need the last BIOS It's usually either a Chip or flash depending on your model. Then you will be able to accept $5 they stopped updating before the $10.
Chips are available from a couple people here. I don't know if anyone still Flashes those BIOS chips. So you usually would be able to swap heads on the reader to one with a chip. I'm sure someone here would have that as well, or check the classified portion of the site. Good luck.

DBV-200 you may be as good as it gets. You could update to a WBA 12/13 ID023 it would be faster and accept everything (except new $10) in all 4 directions.
