So, last night by curve (converted V22/22) seems to have died. The curve portion of the monitor is completely black/dark. Strangely enough, it seems to have enough life to communicate as the machine did not tilt, has no errors, and I could actually play (but with no video on the curve display). Power/video appears fine (I re-swapped the 22/22 and both monitors came to life fine). I have not spent any time inside of the curve monitor yet, and was hoping for some advice of what I can look at. Machines are left on 24/7, it appears the screen just went dark (like completely off dark).

When that happens, it is usually the inverter or the ccfl bulb. I'm not entirely sure if the curve monitor is backlit by leds or the traditional ccfl, maybe someone who know can chime in.

Have you fixed your monitor? I just had this happen to mine. I have a green power light on with no picture at all. I have tried to trouble shoot it with cables and connecting a PC and get nothing. The screen was perfect but had the machine off for like a week and now I get no picture. Weird.

I had this same issue with my curve long time ago. Replaced a couple of caps on the AD bard and was good to go.

Jeff - Do you know what caps I need to by? If you dont know off hand I will take it apart and look. Just wanted to know if you know off hand.

Sorry, it was a few years back and I can’t recall.
