I have a Bally Fireball Game that would normally be installed on a 22/32. Would anybody know what would be the result if installed on a 22/22 other than the top screen graphics would be somewhat shrunk? Also does anyone know how to read the product code on the CF label? I can't seem to find a complete listing of Bally Games.

Top screen will be sideways.

Yes, that makes sense. I have been looking for a 22/32 that does not cost an arm and a leg, but the way the market is now, that won't probably happen. I forgot to mention that the 22/22 has an Ideck, which is probably wrong for the Fireball game.

You can run Alpha 1 games on an Alpha 2 with an ideck. You just have to set the buttons on the ideck manually. Fireball works fine on an Alpha 2.

If you want too. You can take the top monitor out and buy a 32” tv “i think 32” and you have to do some cutting but i have a fireball running on a 22/32 that’s modified like that.

Could you please post a picture of machine

What brand are those 32"

Toshiba I do believe. But it doesn’t really matter the brand. As long as it fits

The 4 on the left look like 40 or 42" screens. Too bad some 22/32 games require a top touchscreen. :hissyfit:

That’s an easy fix. You just have to get a micro touch screen controller that has serial connection and just power it from the machine and it will trick the machine to thinking there’s a touch controller. As well as if the game requires a 3rd screen you just install either a top screen from another machine or do what i did and just find a small computer monitor and just stick it inside the machine. No one really looks at the top screen anyways

Games like Nascar need top touch to choose your driver.

Hey Charles...
How difficult is it to set the buttons manually on the iDeck to run an Alpha game like Luigi's Pizza on a Alpha 2 cabinet?
Did I miss the point of this conversation???

Its kinda easy. When you select your devices (Printer, BV, etc) you select ideck. Once you save it you can CONFIG the ideck. Once you hit CONFIG, then the rest of the setup is on the ideck. With older games I noticed you should select the template with 15 buttons. So you have a line selection on top and xBET on the bottom row. You kind of have to know the game setup before the ideck config but you can always go back and reconfg the ideck with the correct lables. Example, you set the ideck to display a 50 line button but the game only goes to 25, you can change that.
If this doesnt make sense or need a video on how to do it, let me know.

It took a while for the light bulb to go "on" but it is very easy to setup Alpha One games on my Alpha Two. I don't have any need for my Alpha Two cabinet anymore! Thanks Charles... :cool_thumb_up:

hemroid, check out the TOPPER section in this forum for some video files I made for games that don't support the topper monitor. I made some for older Alpha games and you can always request one in that forum. I hate to see that topper blank. lol
