Title: Replacing buttons led..
Post by: Slots4me on August 21, 2022, 09:17:35 AM
I need to replace my m9000 led buttons I found them on Ebay for a good price
My question is when replacing buttons with line bet do you need the replacement button with line bet# or can you use them on new button led.
Cap goes over new button..

It's just a thin transparent insert, you can take the buttons apart and swap the insert.

Slot4me,

I just did the same thing on a S9000.  I think what you are asking is.  Can you change the nomenclature from the old buttons to the new.  If so, the short answer is yes.

The buttons on eBay are the small square ones. Are you going to replace all of your buttons?

On the S9000 I just did it used both the small square buttons (service & print ticket) and rectangle buttons (Bet lines & play max).  I decided to replace both the square and rectangle buttons.

If you use the nomenclature from the rectangle button in the square buttons it will be a real tight fit when you trim them to fit.  The printed area is the same size as the square buttons which may look a bit awkward.

They have four small plastic spring taps on them as seen in the first photo. You need to depress those to remove the button.  I have used a small screwdriver to do that on the first two buttons (it's a bit of a pain).  But since I had to do three games total, I made a tool to assist with depressing the tabs as seen in last photo.  It's not perfect but it helps.

The new ones will just snap into place.
