Title: Bally Alpha V32 - No electricity - need help
Post by: MR230775 on December 17, 2023, 11:36:25 AM
Hello, I bought a Bally Alpha V32 slot machine, transported it and wanted to turn it on. But the device cannot be switched on. When I picked up the device everything was running smoothly. All plugs are tight, I checked everything. I don't know anymore where the error could be.

Try reseating the main cpu - push it in to back of machine and you should feel it kinda lock in

If the cabinet has no power (no lights, fans, etc), your power supply might have come loose, or the power cord is loose inside the machine where it plugs into the power distribution board.  The main power supply just slides in/out and it is secured by a thumbscrew, sometimes dealers do not secure the power supply and during shipping, it slides out enough.  It is located on top of the mpu cage and it has a single large fan on top of it.
