Title: tournament play?
Post by: Badbaud on April 21, 2017, 07:06:54 PM
Got a customer who has a S2000 machine in one of his rental homes and wants to let his renter play the machine but doesn't want any money in or out, or tickets either.
Would setting the game up for tournament play only suffice?
How do I put a machine into permanent tournament mode?

Depends on what game is in it and if it will play tournament game.

These games will do the tournament and if one of these games are in the machine then it shouldn't be to difficult to change over with the correct chips.

would depend of if your customer is happy with the operation of a machine in tournament mode. having to turn the key to start a play cycle and the machine cashing its self out every so often. every time i have a customer that wants a truly free play machine i use a coin in simulator and a hopper simulator. that way the game still behaves like normal they can add credits with the push of a button and when it cashes out the credits just disappear. if you go tournament tho i find s+ chips are easier to find i run them in all my tournament built s2000.

There used to be a shop that sold then don't know if they still do.
