Title: Bally 873 help ID part on outside of cabinet

Bally 873 has a plastic round piece on the right hand side same side as the handle on the top right has 3 screws holding it on two blue wires go from it into the top portion of the machine to the power strip i originally thought that it was for a bell but not sure now ill try to post a picture . Thanks

it's not in the bally 400 manual supplement which has the 873 cabinet parts diagrams.  I'd guess some kind of cap went over it.


what color wires do the blue ones attach to on the terminal strip?


does it look like a buzzer or light?

That looks like a level tilt switch.

It is a bell with the metal gong removed.
There should be a dome shaped gong that rings when struck.
The part in the center is a electromagnetic coil that moves a striker
that hits the gong making a ringing noise.
