Title: IGT Player's Edge Plus (PE+) Help needed (video?)

I have built and repaired many pinball machine, Jamma Arcade. PC's, Laptops and Cellphones, but this is my first attempt at a video poker machine and I think I might be in over my head.   

I am not sure where to start.   any advice (or anyone in the Venice, FL area who I can pay to take a look) ?

Is that a picture of your machine?

Are you using actual PE+ components or is that MAME?

Sorry, I should have explicitly spelled it out.  I purchased a full original IGT players edge Plus video poker machine.

Clearly an issue of mismatched CG ROMs with an incompatible program ROM.

Turn the Jackpot Reset key until it shows:

GAME PROGRAM            PP0xxxx
CHARACTER PROGRAM  CG:2xxx

Or pull out the main PCB and take a picture of the labeled ROMs.  If no labels you have do the Jackpot Reset thing.

From there we can help you determine the correct CG ROMs that will work with you program ROM.
