Title: Double checking my logic on CC optics

When I put a quarter in the slot it drops into the hopper but I do not get a credit.  I place the machine in test mode.  There are 3 coin detectors A,B and C.  When I drop the coin in B and C change but A does not.  So I am assuming that all three must see the coin to get the slot to register the credit?

If the coin guide at the optics is for a larger coin, 50 cent or $1, and you drop a quarter in it will miss the third optic. Or maybe the optic board has failed.

Never mind figured it out.  I just noticed the optics on my S+ are the same.  swapped it out and machine now works.
