MEI Bill Acceptor Takes bills but want give any credits......all help appreciated thank you all

Hey Jake,


What type of machine do you have ? It could be many things, one of them being the BV com board.. Will it take many tries for it to receive the bill as well ?

I'ts POG takes money first try its A 2681 model Acceptor

Don't know much about POG'S, but it can be many things...


-make sure dip switches 2,4, and 8 are up.
-make sure the bill-in is in serial 1 as well on the terminal config.
-try going on factory tests and hit " corrupt all.." this removes all accounting information
- make sure the R41,R42,R43, & R44 LED'S are on in the main board (could be a damaged board )

Ok I have it taking money now but not giving credits......green light is on....looks good just no credits

I'm having same issue.  Takes bills but doesn't give credits.  The green LED is flashing on the acceptor head.  The other two LED (amber and red) turn off after initial power up.  On Bally S6000.
